Maps of Bays Mountain
Bays Mountain is such a prominent landmark that it’s been drawn and documented numerous times over the years.
One of the earliest Bays Mountain maps is from a 1916 survey as the Dam was being built. The map documents the features and property lines at the time.
This map shows where families lived on the mountain in the early/mid 1900s.
Soon after the Park was opened in 1971, this map was featured in the Kingsport Times-News paper. It’s amazing how well it still represents the Park.
